Booking terms and conditions

 

1.      A booking form must be completed and submitted to the DMA to book an event.

 

2.      The booking form constitutes a legally binding contract.  The delegate and employer are jointly and severally liable for payment for all the fees due to the DMA.

 

3.      A confirmation letter and VAT receipt will be emailed to you as acknowledgement of your booking.

 

4.      Payment if applicable must be tendered within 30 days from date of the invoice or sooner if the event is less than 30 days.

 

5.      Cost of the event may be subject to change.

 

6.      If payment is not received prior to the event, delegates will be asked to guarantee payment at registration on the day with a personal credit/debit card.
 

7.      Your fee includes documentation and refreshments.

 

8.      If you are unable to attend, cancellations must be made in writing and received by the DMA no later than 5 working days before the date of the event – all bookings are binding thereafter and no refunds will be given.

 

9.      An alternative delegate can be substituted.
 

10.  It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of the organisers to alter the content, timing or venue of the event.

 

11.  The DMA accepts no liability for any expenses incurred as a result of changes made to the event.
 

12.  The DMA will not accept liability for any transport disruption or individual transport delays incurred by a delegate and in such circumstances no refund will be given.

 

13.  To the extent by law, DMA will not be liable by reason of breach of contract, negligence or otherwise for any loss or consequential loss occasioned to any person acting omitting to act or refraining from acting in reliance upon the course material or presentation of the course or, except to the extent that any such loss does not exceed the price of the course, arising from or connected with any error or omission in the course material or presentation of the course.  Consequential loss shall be deemed to include, but is not limited to, any loss of profits or anticipated profits, damage to reputation or goodwill, loss of business or anticipated business, damages, costs, expenses incurred or payable to any third party or any other indirect or consequential losses.

 

14.  The DMA shall not be responsible for failure to carry out an event due to factors outside the control of either party, including, but not limited to, Acts of God, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, shortages of material or labour, fire, flood, criminal acts or unexpected failure of properly maintained and serviced machinery or equipment.
