We are currently looking for suitable candidates to fill the above vacancy which will be based in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire.

Job Purpose

  • To ensure delivery ad profitable execution of pharmaceutical meetings, in addition provide support to the Events Team Leader to effectively and efficiently manage and support and develop all event operations to the highest possible standard ensuring overall client satisfaction.

  • To manage and support and develop both your self and your team to the highest standards in the delivery of the event management process.
    Operation delivery and Financial Management

  • Ensure consistent execution and delivery for all events( Planning, on site and Post Event)

  • Ensure team complete time log and produce analysis of data

  • Understand client business structure , products, policies and key personnel

  • Assisting Business Development Team where required

  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with Brief Owner accountability

  • Attend when appropriate, client meetings

  • Onsite Event and on-site visit attendance ( when required) to either oversee event overall, be part of the team or to mentor others

  • Oversee team accuracy of all budgets and revisions

  • Achieve maximum Project Profitability on each event

  • Apply excellent written and verbal communications

  • Conduct Operational Man agent and Meetings ensuring appropriate follow up and action undertaken

  • Ensure all data is kept up to date and accurate

  • Ensure compliance with program contract terms

  • Ensuring compliance with company and client invoicing process

  • Evaluation each program with effective Scope Management

  • Maximising Project Probability

People Management and Development

  • Interview, Select and appoint new operational hires where applicable I liaison with HR, handle their grievances and discipline when required

  • Motivate and maintain high standards of morale

  • Ensure compliance with performance management within entire team

  • Determine, conduct individual training

  • Conduct regular and follow up meetings

  • Mentor through effective management

  • Increase productivity within the team

  • Resource Management

  • Manage team allocations, control of spend and ensure clients needs are met

  • Work with Event Team Leader to support needs

  • Create effective solutions where required
     

Quality Management

  • Manage all meetings

  • Ongoing development of ops procedures

  • Support Business Teams

  • Managing Team expectations and feedback

  • Qualifications and Experience requires

  • ABPI or other European equivalent Qualifications

  • Event Management experience within an agency environment with a pharmaceutical client base

  • Proven record in performance and team management

  • On-site experience

  • Good organisations skills and able to work to deadlines

  • Numerate and an excellent knowledge of excel
    able to work within a team as well as independently

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Committing to getting things done right first time
