They need an
experienced and dynamic Account Manager to join one of our
professional teams. This important role would suit an experienced
Account Executive, who is looking for the next step on the ladder in a
highly professional full service agency
JOB OBJECTIVE
MAIN
RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivering events on time within budget to meet/exceed client’s
expectations utilising the right resources
-
Actively setting and communicating priorities whilst ensuring that
all participants understand their activities and associated
deadlines
-
Communicating with the client to ensure that they are aware of
progress, their contribution and receive the necessary guidance and
support to achieve their targets
-
Communicating within the team and the monitoring and reporting of
progress to ensure that deadlines are met through regular meetings
and reviews
-
Maintaining and developing client relationship with a view to
retaining existing business and developing new – think long-term
-
Managing operational and administrative functions as required to
ensure the effective delivery of specific event projects
-
Providing leadership, direction and support to the team whilst
maintaining motivation and enthusiasm to successfully deliver the
project
-
Developing and maintaining a detailed work schedule to include the
recognition of requirement and co-ordinating with other internal
functions and external suppliers
-
Line management and personal development of direct reports (Event
Co-ordinators)

Provision of clear direction to Event Co-ordinators ensuring that
they understand their roles and responsibilities and that training
needs are identified and provided

Travel on site inspections and accompanying events as required
-

DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATIONSHIPS
JOB
REQUIREMENTS
-
Four to five years relevant experience with management
responsibilities
-
Educated to A level or degree or qualified by experience
-
An understanding of budget implications with regards to VAT, TOMS
and ATOL
-
Awareness of event risk assessment and health and safety
implications
-
Good destination knowledge of UK and overseas
-
Proven track record in account management of events
-
Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships
-
Experience in budget monitoring and management
-
Interest in current business issues
-
Full
UK driving licence
-
Fluent in English
