They need an
experienced and dynamic Production Manager to join one of our
professional teams. This important role would suit an experienced
Production Manager, who is looking for the next step on the ladder in a
highly professional full service agency.
JOB
OBJECTIVE
-
Lead at a strategic level, the production and delivery of
conferences and live events on behalf of clients
-
Develop relationships across clients (internal and external) and
suppliers to achieve the production element of the event objectives
-
Develop, motivate and mentor team members
-
Play a significant role in pitching and winning new business through
contribution to the sales proposal process
-
Work with suppliers to ensure that new and innovative
services/products are continually introduced to clients
-
Maintain profitable business through identifying opportunities from
existing and new clients
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Manage and develop client relationships with the clear remit to
promote the creative communications business unit
-
Take a thorough brief, determining key event objectives and gaining
a full understanding of client needs

Contribute to the proposal and pitch process both creatively and
technically
-
Monitoring production budgets on behalf of clients and profit
margins on behalf of Company
-
Monitoring progress against targets and contributing to business
development reporting
-
Research and develop creative suppliers
-
Negotiate and prepare client budgets
-
Negotiate and contract with suppliers
-
Regularly and frequently communicate with clients to monitor client
satisfaction
-
Gather and communicate to Account Directors client intelligence
-
Ensure effective resourcing of events
-
Ensure highest levels of customer service
-
To add value and develop a unique strategic offer to our clients

Support and show leadership to the day to day running of the
Creative Communications Business Unit

Develop strategies for future growth
DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATIONSHIPS

Liaise with internal staff at all levels across Company
-
Liaise with clients, suppliers and trade and professional
associations and industry bodies
JOB REQUIREMENTS
-
Six to seven years relevant experience with management experience
-
Educated to degree level/professional qualification or quality by
experience
-
Ability to think at a strategic level
-
Confident and experienced with budgeting and pricing
-
Experience of leading and managing a team
-
Good at opportunity spotting
-
Interest in current business issues
