An Experienced Senior Project Manager

We are firmly established as one of
the UK’s leading providers of global healthcare support services for
medical societies and the pharmaceutical industry. We are currently
looking for a Senior Event Manager to join our successful team.
You will be responsible for designing, planning, organising and
delivering successful Meetings, Conferences and Events on behalf of our
clients.
Job Purpose:
To be
responsible for designing, planning, organising and delivering
successful Meetings, Conferences and Events on behalf of the clients of
the Choice Group. Demonstrates leadership and management qualities to
colleagues, clients and suppliers.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Event management – planning, control and implementation
-
Creates imaginative, accurate, timely and well
budgeted proposals in response to client briefs
-
Develops and maintains detailed project plans for
each agreed event (including comprehensive and accurate budgets) and
brief support teams as appropriate
-
Takes full financial control of events by
ensuring plans and budgets are always up to date and are
communicated to the Project team and that positive cash flow is
maintained throughout the lifecycle of the project

Takes responsibility for prompt and accurate post
event reconciliation for events

Takes responsibility and control of event execution
(with team as appropriate) optimising both the offering and
profitability

Maintains appropriate relations and
contact with clients throughout lifecycle of the event to maximise
any future potential
Account Management
and Business Development
-
Takes responsibility for client accounts maintaining
in depth knowledge of their business (and their business with
Choice) and forge relationships with all appropriate account
personnel

Execute regular meetings with appropriate account
personnel to ensure free information flow (both to and from account)
and open communications. Includes personal presentation of
proposals and debriefs

Actively seek strive for retention and growth of existing clients as
directed

Experience:
At least
4 years track record in Event Management (including on-site experience
