A
fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a dedicated business
development team in one of the UK's premier and award winning event
management companies.
They
provide total event management services for the complete spectrum of
hospitality, conference, motivation, incentive, and development
programmes.
They also
specialise in providing stunning events in their own temporary
structure, built for the summer and Christmas seasons.
As a
privately owned and managed business, they provide an open, dynamic
environment where every member of the team needs to make a significant
input into strategy and delivery. This is not a nine to five position -
but the financial and personal rewards are ample compensation.
This new and exciting
role will enable the candidate to work alongside and within the event
team. The role is in the predominantly proactive sales of ‘the room’
brand, promoting the exclusivity and unique concept in the UK - mainly
in the London area.
The aim of the role is
to maximise the sales opportunities of the relationship team and to
target and grow a portfolio of new clients and maximising and growing
existing clients and relationships.
KEY AREAS OF
RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for
maximising relationship sales opportunities whilst over achieving set
targets for gross profit contribution.

Maximising all
opportunities to grow the brand and continue to grow
market position.

Continued promotion,
marketing and sales of the brand

Account management of
clients in a variety of venues

To cross sell between
Special Events and Relationship Events

To maximise
opportunities with third party agencies

achieved.

The Applicant
-
Must be willing to
commute to the offices in Dorking as and when required.

Demonstrate over
achievement in business to business sales, preferably within the
events arena.

Be
highly
motivated, and trained as a business development consultant. Ideally
with event experience, or a background in a similar high value
business to business environment.

The
successful applicant will be a confident self starter with the drive
and commitment to succeed, but must also be an excellent team
player. They must have the skills to relate at all levels (including
main board) and feel comfortable presenting at senior level.

The
ability to provide credible event consultancy advice is essential.
It is unlikely that anybody with less than three years b2b event sales
will have the necessary depth of experience
