Operations Manager
Macclesfield, Cheshire
Established over 20 years ago, we are an event management and conference
production agency specialising in delivering high quality conferences,
roadshow programmes and event management services to a broad customer
base.
We
now have a need for a first class operations manager to work with the
account management team to deliver these events. It is a largely office
based role in our offices in Cheshire.
The main scope of the Operations Manager is to work alongside the
account management team to co-ordinate and deliver first class support,
organisation and delivery of multiple projects to the highest
standards. This is a senior role within the team which comes with the
responsibility to deliver results and help grow the business.
Main Responsibilities include:

Responsibility for
project management of key elements of our ongoing conference
workload

Day to day
communication with the client management team
-
Financial
responsibility for sections of projects
-
Communication with
internal and external colleagues and suppliers
-
Management of
project co-ordinator(s)
-
Resourcing and
outsourcing to ensure work is done on time
Attributes & Skills
-
Experience of
working in the events industry would be advantageous but not
essential if you can prove you have gained the relevant skills from
another sector.
