Project Coordinator

Apex are a communications agency based in Cheshire who deliver live
events to clients around the country.
The project co-ordinator provides administrative support to account
managers; the role can include sourcing entertainment, organising travel
and accommodation, delivering reports, data input, production of event
literature etc.
Applicants must have excellent computer skills and good attention to
detail. A mature and professional approach is required and the ability
to work efficiently and effectively to tight deadlines is essential.
Some evening work and occasional weekend work would be required.
Previous experience in the events industry is not essential however, a
desire to gain entry level experience within the industry and someone
who shows the right attitude and drive is.
Skills & Qualifications required:

Excellent communication skills with a
co-operative attitude to clients and colleagues

The ability to multi-task and work to
tight deadlines

The maturity to deal with clients up
to event manager level and sit in on planning meetings, if required,
with the appropriate verbal and written communication skills

An excellent and demonstrable working
knowledge of Microsoft Office IT software. We use Eventspro event
management software – a knowledge of this would be an advantage
though not essential as training would be given.

A good all round education with good
GCSE grades in English and Maths.
Salary - £14-16K
