Sales Executive, Events Sponsorship

 £18-20K  + £5k OTE

Our client is a small B2B events company based in Tonbridge, Kent. they have a mix of our own and managed events in the UK and in Europe and currently have a staff of 15 and growing!

They urgently need a Sales Executive to sell sponsorship for 4 busy events - PLEASE NOTE, YOU WILL NOT BE EXPECTED TO COLD CALL -  the company is well established and has sponsorship clients that they work with on an on-going basis

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years sales/commercial experience in media (publishing or events and a knowledge or previous experience of Business to Business sales

They will have the ability to:

• deal with clients and suppliers at all levels (on phone and face-to-face)

• call a mix of existing customers and new business potentials to generate sales opportunities

• produce proposals and close sales
   

They will have

• A self-motivating 'can-do' attitude and be able to work on their own or part of a team

• A dedicated and personable nature with a will to succeed and progress within the company
   

Full product training will be provided to the right candidate. There is also a possibility of progression into speaker and event management.

Location: Tonbridge, Kent

Salary: £18K-£20K - Dependant on experience

Start date: ASAP
