Sales & Operations Assistant
£20 - 23,000 depending upon experience
Job Purpose:
To assist with
development, sales, and co-ordination of Incentive and Group Travel
business opportunities
Key Result Areas:
-
Assist with
planning & costing of incentive trips/conferences, producing
proposals to meet organisers specifications
-
Assist with
Negotiation of competitive rates with suppliers and land operators
to ensure overall product pricing is competitive as well as
achieving pre-agreed profit margins for Client
-
Organise,
coordinate and oversee provision of services to ensure all aspects
of tours are carried out meeting agreed quality standards
-
Follow up enquiries
to customers and suppliers after project, to ensure maximum
effectiveness and customer satisfaction
-
Source and profile
new business leads, to identify potential sales targets
-
Assist with
production of sales promotion documents
-
Maintain and
up-date Client Web pages to generate sales and business
opportunities
-
Increase awareness
of company in market place by regular sales contact

Keep up to date
with market developments
-
Monitor and react
to competitor activity, to maintain and develop Client business
-
Assist with
production of tour accounts ensuring prompt settlement to maximise
profitability
-
Assist with
production of management information, including statistics
-
Work as a team
member, contributing to overall effectiveness of team
Personnel Specification:
-
Minimum 2 years Tour
operations/product knowledge
-
Negotiations
-
Sales experience (preferable)

Knowledge of Groups & Incentives
market
-
Computer literacy - Excel, Word, Power
