Events Manager

Salary circa £28,000p.a.+ 13% bonus + bens

Rufford, Newark Notts.

In this newly re-structured role you will have overall responsibility for the operational and financial delivery of both Corporate and Leisure activity on the Village. You will achieve revenue and profit targets as well as maintaining high guest satisfaction levels through exceptional service standards and value for money.
Highly professional, innovative and self motivated, you will have a proven flair for influencing change, using your first class communication skills to inspire your team and satisfy guests and ensure that all possible opportunities are maximised upon to deliver and further develop the Corporate and Leisure business. You will have substantial general experience in a high quality restaurant/bar environment along with significant experience in running large functions/event management.

Minimum Previous Work Experience

• Four years general experience in high quality restaurants/bar management.

• Two years experience in running conference/large functions/event management.

• Menu/Wine and Spirit working knowledge.

• Proven good record of managing and developing people

Minimum Educational/Vocational Qualifications

• Formal Catering Management qualifications. eg. BTech/Diploma/Degree

• Food Hygiene qualifications

• Any other industry related qualifications desirable.
