Based in
WorldEvents’ Operations Support department and working closely with the
event teams, you will be a key driver in ensuring that office and onsite
Health and Safety issues are managed effectively. In addition you will
provide support across the business in a variety of operational areas,
supporting the Operations Manager and other members of the Operations
Support department.
Responsibilities include conducting office and onsite health and safety
assessments and overseeing the company’s H&S procedures, crisis
management, managing freelance resource, coordinating external supplier
visits as well as other operational duties.
Candidates should have previous experience of applying Health and Safety
procedures in a business environment. IOSH training or a NEBOSH
qualification will be an advantage, however appropriate training will
also be available for other suitable candidates. Relevant experience in
the events, travel or hospitality industries would be useful, while the
ability to liaise confidently at all levels is essential. You will also
be a strong communicator with the ability to influence others.
